“ Food Was AMAZING And Well Priced. The Waitress Was So Sweet And Kind When Taking My Order. Wait Times Are Amazing Not To Long But Not Too Short. TVS All Around A Ton Of Windows Amazing Lighting Nicely Decorated. I Would DEFINITELY Recommend This Place If You Want Food In Rhinelander For A Meal Or A Quick Bite! “ I'm 63, my wife and I are from Chicago suburbs. Stopped in because we just wanted a no frills family restaurant, which this is. This was a Monday evening at 5pm. Waitresses were all very young around high school age, but very nice and very efficient. Since I'm over 55, wife and I had "senior" meals, wow, very reasonable! I had the cheese burger, asked for medium well but it was sill pink inside more towards the medium level, but not bloody. It came plain with lettuce, tomato, pickles that I loaded on myself, just fine with me. The burger was way bigger that a McD's quarter pounder. Came with chicken dumpling soup, very good. Wife had the breaded fried shrimp w/fries and side of veggies. Lots of shrimp, at least a dozen. All very good. We couldn't believe how fast it got to us, however the place wasn't crowded at all. The burger came so fast, that's probably why it wasn't medium well, but it was still very good. With sodas, the (senior) bill was about $23 cash, they do charge 3% additional for credit. ”
“ Time to slow down and have a bit of homemade food. Friendship house never disappoints. I love their breakfast, so when I found myself running ahead of schedule, I knew I was stopping here. I am kinda a simple person when it comes to breakfast; bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for today. My breakfast also came with hash browns. I asked them not to serve them today because I did not think I would be hungry enough to eat them. I hate wasting food while I travel. Excellent meal as always. And who can turn down a bottomless cup of coffee for $2. They even have French vanilla creamer, if you are so inclined. Bacon-crisp-YEA! Not that I don't eat soggy bacon, but crispy bacon is the absolute best. My eggs were good and I love that they had rye bread as a toast option. I could have had pancakes, which are good, but today...rye toast. I know it is a simple breakfast, but so very good. Prices are very reasonable. Did I mention $2 bottomless coffee. If you can, remember to bring cash so you don't have to pay the credit card charge. The economy has been hard on a lot of restaurants, so they are only adding what the credit card company charges them, please don't think anything bad about this. As for atmosphere, this is a family friendly location. This morning there are a couple locals here and one other business traveler working at his table. (Personally, I get it, but relax...enjoy breakfast). They have a couple of televisions on with the news in closed captions and the local radio station keeps the music in the background. I can hear people chatting, but it is at a level that I cannot over hear. I did not catch my waitress's name, but service is fast and friendly. If you make it up this way pop in! The pies look fantastic and are made fresh in location. Maybe next time will be a slice and a touch of coffee... ”

“ All in all an awesome breakfast place !!! We always have great service and fast turn around time for food. The crepes were absolutely delicious. Boyfriend got the meat lovers skillet and that was full of flavor !!! If you're looking for a great breakfast place... definitely stop on in! ”
